Lane 5000: Compact Design
The Lane 5000 EC card reader impresses with its compact design and optimum user-friendliness. It comes with a large, high-resolution TFT color display with an integrated signature pad. Personalized operating menus and promotional videos can also be displayed on the landscape-based touchscreen. The keyboard is located below the display and has a clear layout. A stylus for signature capture is optionally available for the Lane 5000.
The Lane 5000 is connected to the checkout with a one-cable solution and thus ensures a tidy checkout area without cable clutter. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the EC card reader also fits perfectly into the checkout area, saving space. However, the DeskPOS Lane 5000 does not have a printer.
Lane 5000: A variety of payment options
The Lane 5000 EC terminal is equipped with a 64-bit processor, which ensures fast processing of card payments. The EC card reader offers full flexibility, as it can process all payment types including EMV chip and contactless payments.
This means your customers can also pay with their smartphone and Apple or Google Pay. The NFC contactless reader is positioned on the device in a customer-friendly way. The privacy shield integrated flat on the terminal also offers maximum security during payment.
Lane 5000: Various additional functions
Thanks to its flexibly expandable software concept, the Lane 5000 can be optionally equipped with several additional functions. These include, for example:

The Lane 5000 EC card reader meets all the security requirements of the German banking industry and is certified by PCI 5.x and EMV, among others. The EC terminal also has an anti-theft lock, abnormal cable removal detection, and automatic blocking in the event of a threat.
Point-to-point encryption is available as an option for the Lane 5000. This allows you to protect yourself against data theft.
