The A920 EC card reader not only looks like a smartphone with its stylish design, the features and operation of the EC terminal are also similar. The high-resolution, five-inch LED color display has a touchscreen and an integrated signature function.
The inner workings of the A920 are also reminiscent of a smartphone thanks to the modified Android operating system (PayDroid) and offer equally intuitive operation. This means that you and your employees don't need a long training period to operate the terminal and card payments are also very easy for your customers. The large, easy-to-read display and integrated contactless reader ensure fast and uncomplicated processing of numerous payment types.
SmartPOS A920: Functions & Features
The smart EC device A920 is equipped with a receipt printer. The terminal uses either the 4G mobile network or WLAN for communication - depending on how stable the connection is. Switching between the networks is automatic. The A920 therefore offers maximum flexibility and reliability. A multi-network mobile phone card including data volume is included in the scope of delivery.
What's special about the A920? The EC card reader is not only suitable for mobile use, for example in restaurants or for delivery services. Thanks to O.P.I and ZVT cash register interfaces, it can also be used at a fixed point of sale in a store.
The built-in battery of the A920 terminal has a capacity of 5,250 mAh and therefore guarantees maximum battery life. The 8 GB memory can be expanded to up to 32 GB via MicroSD. The A920 has two cameras for scanning barcodes and QR codes. Cards are read via chip card or magnetic stripe readers, and the A920 is also NFC-capable, enabling contactless payment via smartphone with Apple or Google Pay.

The functions and features of the A920 can be optionally expanded using apps from the Nexi App Store. For example, you can install a checkout app on the smart terminal and carry out the entire ordering process, including billing and card payment, on just this one device.
