Eschborn, November 8, 2023. Carmine Petraglia will commence his role as Senior Vice President Operations DACH at Paytech provider Nexi Group on December 1, 2023, becoming a member of the leadership team in Germany and the DACH region. He will oversee the Customer Onboarding and Customer Service departments as well as their strategic development, reporting directly to Carola Wahl, CEO Nexi DACH.
"We are delighted to welcome Carmine Petraglia to Nexi in the DACH region and Germany. With his wealth of experience and strong leadership skills, we will strengthen and continuously develop the critical operational areas of Customer Onboarding and Customer Service. He will assist us in creating a modern, digitized, and highly efficient operations organization to enhance our customer orientation and achieve our ambitious growth goals," said Wahl.
Carmine brings with him over 20 years of experience in various management and executive roles. The majority of his professional career was spent at Deutsche Telekom and its subsidiaries, where he held various leadership positions, including overseeing onboarding, service, and support in the fixed-line division, managing service and sales performance, and driving the digitization, automation, and standardization of service processes. In his most recent role at CompuGroup Medical SE, he served as Corporate Vice President for Group Controlling.
After the merger of Nets and Nexi, along with all subsidiaries and affiliated companies, into Nexi Group, the company introduced a new management structure earlier this year on its path to becoming the leading European Paytech company with dedicated regional management teams and a local go-to-market approach. This new setup takes into account the national specifics in the payment and banking structure, allowing individual business units to stay close to employees and customers and respond agilely to dynamics. At the same time, customer companies and Nexi teams benefit from the innovation and scale of the entire group, contributing to continued successful growth in Germany and the DACH region.
